.
Giving his first interview in Morocco, the actor told Arab Today that he has heard good things about Moroccan cinema but has not explored it.
Speaking about the political situation in Egypt, Shaaban stated that the revolution can no longer be counted as one since the Muslim Brotherhood acquired power. The actor claimed that the Muslim Brotherhood does not like culture and the arts.
Shaaban expects that the coming demonstrations of June 30 against the government will settle things and determine Egypt’s future.
