Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni survived a possible plane crash while he was flying from Los Angeles to Houston during his US tour, according to a brief report published in Al-Ahram newspaper. In an exclusive statement to the paper, Tamer said that the plane wheels opened while in the air, which could have led to a fatal crash. The singer said the authorities evacuated the airport to prepare for an emergency landing which could have led to a disaster. Tamer then took another plane to Houston, where he held his concert, then flew to Montreal and Toronto to hold two more concerts in the Canadian cities.
