Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni survived a possible plane crash while he was flying from Los Angeles to Houston during his US tour, according to a brief report published in Al-Ahram newspaper. In an exclusive statement to the paper, Tamer said that the plane wheels opened while in the air, which could have led to a fatal crash. However, the pilot manoeuvred the plane and flew at low altitude, and returned to the LA airport. The singer said the authorities evacuated the airport to prepare for an emergency landing which could have led to a disaster. Tamer then took another plane to Houston, where he held his concert, then flew to Montreal and Toronto to hold two more concerts in the Canadian cities.
