The mercury is rising in the emirates and days are getting hotter, much to the despair of the residents.
The weather in UAE today is expected to be hot in general with cloud formation over some eastern areas during the afternoon.
According to National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology's weather forecast, light to moderate winds is expected to blow over eastern and northern areas during the day.
The temperatures could peak at 49 degrees Celsius in the internal areas of the Emirates. The current temperature in Dubai is 36 degrees and could touch 41C in a couple of hours.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning over some coastal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation, especially to the west. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and rough at times especially to the north of Oman Sea.
