A mutual visa fee waiver agreement between Bahrain and Turkey will come into effect within 30 days, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.
“In reference to reports in local media with regard to the mutual visa fee exemption between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stresses that the Memorandum of Understanding signed on February 12 by the two governments to exempt ordinary passport holders from visa fee requirement will come into effect within 30 days from today, after completion of the required legal procedures by both sides,” the ministry said in a statement.
"The ministry affirms that this step will yield significant positive results as it pours into the development of the distinguished historic bilateral ties in all fields and boost trade and tourism movement for the benefit of both friendly countries and peoples.”
