The UAE on Wednesday condemned the twin attacks claimed by Daesh in the Iranian capital.
"Our position on terrorism is very clear...Any terrorist attack in any country, in any capital, directed at innocent people is something that the UAE abhors and the UAE condemns", Minister for State Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash.
Germany condemned "in the strongest terms" the twin attacks that killed 12 people.
Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said "once again, unscrupulous criminals have killed many innocent people".
"I condemn in the strongest terms the attacks in the Iranian parliament building and the tomb of the revolutionary leader (Ayatollah Ruhollah) Khomeini," he said in a statement.
"We mourn with the people of Iran. We offer our condolences to families of the victims. We hope that the many injured will fully recover soon."
The Kremlin also condemned the attacks. "Moscow decisively condemns such terrorist attacks," spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, adding that "the continuation of a series of terror attacks again underlines the need for coordinated actions in the fight against terror and Daesh." -
