The Zayed Giving Initiative's mobile field hospital in Egypt has provided diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive humanitarian services to vulnerable groups of children and seniors, under the supervision of a UAE-Egyptian medical team of volunteers.
The field hospital provided medical aid in the village of El-Qurain in Al Sharqia as part of the efforts to activate humanitarian partnership and joint work between the health, voluntary and philanthropic institutions of the UAE and Egypt to reach thousands of children and the elderly in various Egyptian villages.
The mission is in line with the directives of the UAE leadership declaring the year 2017 as the #Year of Giving. It is a joint community volunteer initiative between the Zayed Giving Initiative, Dar Al Ber Society, Sharjah Charity International, Saudi German Hospitals Group, the Egyptian Ministry of Youth, and the UAE Embassy in Egypt.
