A shocking video of a woman being groped and sexually harassed by a group of men in Egypt has resurfaced on social media. The terrified woman in the video is seen wearing a pink top and a headscarf and is frantically trying to escape the group of men who are shouting and whistling at her.
According to the Independent, the woman was walking through her campus in Egypt's Cairo University when she was harassed by some men. The report mentions that several university guards escorted her off the premises after she hid in a toilet to escape the men. Some men also allegedly tried to remove the woman's clothes.
The video clip emerges shortly after Cairo was named the world's most dangerous megacity for women according to a survey conducted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Other world cities which listed as dangerous for women's safety are Karachi in Pakistan, Kinhasa in DR Congo and New Delhi in India.
