The trilateral high UAE-Saudi-Yemen committee, chaired by Yemeni Vice-President Lt. General Ali Mohsen Saleh Al-Ahmar, held its first meeting today in Jeddah to discuss its work and recent contacts made between the political leaders of the three member states, the state Saudi Press Agency, SPA, reported.
The committee discussed its agenda for security action and progress of military operations being conducted in Yemen to liberate all Yemeni territory from rebels.
Recommendations made during the meeting were approved unanimously by members of the committee, the SPA said, and noted that committee will hold regular meetings from now on.
The committee also expressed appreciation of directives issued by the leaders Saudi Arabia, UAE and Yemen to upgrade co-operation and co-ordination within the Arab Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen.
