Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Chairman of the High Committee for Hajj and Omrah Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa lauded success of the Hajj season for the year 1438 H. He also praised the great efforts and distinguished joint work of Bahrain Hajj Mission and the ministry’s Islamic Affairs which brought about a quality leap in terms of services and unrelenting follow-up on campaigns in order to ensure Bahraini pilgrims are provided with high quality services despite all challenges.
The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister extended congratulations to Bahrain leadership on success of the Hajj season. He was speaking at a celebration held recently by the Religious Affairs Directorate’s Hajj and Omrah Affairs Department to honour Bahrain Hajj Mission members. The ceremony was organised under the patronage of the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister at the Family Courts’ conferences hall in Riffa.
Shaikh Khalid commended the tremendous efforts and pivotal role of the Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to facilitate performance of the Hajj rituals for the pilgrims. He also praised the humanitarian efforts of Bahrain Hajj Missions in this respect, thanking all ministries, government institutions and non-government organisations for their contribution to the success of the Hajj season and to ensuring safety of Bahrain pilgrims. He paid tribute to Head of Bahrain Hajj Mission Sheikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al Qattan for the dedicated efforts and keenness to serve the pilgrims.
The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister honoured the 120 members of Bahrain Hajj Mission in appreciation of their major role during the last Hajj season.
