Prime Minister, Hani al-Mulki inaugurated Monday the Dead Sea Corniche Hotel and Training Institute project.
The prime minister laid the foundation stone for the project in the presence of Ministers of Labor, Ali Ghazzawi, Tourism and Antiquities, Lina Annab, State Investment for Affairs, Muhannad Shehadeh, Chairman of the Jordan Hotel Association (JHA), Michael Nazzal, a number of officials and related parties.
The project will be implemented in cooperation between the government and the JHA. It aims at providing job and training opportunities for trainees in various occupations in the hotel management and tourism domains, which would provide the Dead Sea Development Zone with its needs of Jordanian trained labor within the best international standards.
The project, which is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Labor’s Employment, Technical and Vocational Education Training (E-TVET), will include a hotel and tourism training center in addition to a training hotel, which would revive the area and attract more investment.
