The Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment has distributed stationery items worth AED1.5 million to students from needy families.
The gesture was part of its charitable educational programme, "With Education, We Develop." It aims to implement numerous projects to support students across the country.
The stationery programme was implemented as the first project at the start of the academic year in co-operation with the Dubai Library Distributors to ensure that the school requirements of underprivileged students are met.
Saleh Zaher Saleh Al Mazroui, General Manager of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, said that the implementation of this project contributes to the success of its annual Integrated Educational Programme. It supports students in every grade and includes several projects that cover tuition fees and school uniforms, besides assisting with the construction of schools.
