Importance of social media stressed

Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa received the Co-Chair of the Global Social Media Club, Ali Ahmed Sabkar and congratulated him on his appointment in the panel which was established in the United States of America, as the largest community of social media professionals.
He stressed the crucial importance of social media, which, he said, attract all social categories, particularly young people who have a great impact on societies. He underlined the role of social media in spreading the culture of communication between all segments of Bahraini society.
Sabkar presented the Governor with a certificate of honour in acknowledgement of his support to the Global Social Media Club in Bahrain, stressing the importance of such support, which encourages young people to use the social media adequately.
