The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has delivered emergency food aid for low-income families in Shabwa Governorate in Yemen, distributing 2,000 food baskets in Al Hota town.
Mohammed Saif Al Muhairi, Head of the ERC team in Shabwa, said the emergency aid was delivered as part of the efforts to improve the living and economic conditions of the people in the remote areas of Shabwa.
He said the ERC will continue its relief operations, as well as development projects, to improve the people's living standards, adding that the food aid delivery was in response to the appeals made to alleviate the suffering of the people in Mayfa’a District of Shabwa.
