Bahrain Defence Force Commander-in-chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today received outgoing Chief of Joint Operations of British Forces, Lt-Gen John Lorimer, who accompanied his replacement Vice Admiral Timothy Peter Fraser.
The Commander-in-chief hailed the existing friendship relations between the two kingdoms and praised Lt-Gen John Lorimer’s efforts exerted during his tenure. He wished the new chief Rear Admiral Timothy Peter Fraser success in his mission.
The meeting was also attended by Director-General of the General Command, Maj-Gen Hassan Mohammed Saad; Inspector-General Maj-Gen Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sada; Commander of Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Simon Martin.
