Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) signed a cooperation agreement with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office to back Bahrain’s commitment to carrying out the agenda of sustainable development 2030.
BIPA Director General Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams described the public employee as the core of development in the government work system. He hailed the efforts of the UNDP office in Bahrain to provide technical support so as to achieve the sustainable development goals within the framework of common responsibility. He praised the UNDP’s support to all training programmes aimed at achieving excellence, quality and creativity.
On his part, Resident-Coordinator of the UN activities and UNDP Resident-Representative Amine Al-Sharqawi praised cooperation with BIPA, being a partner in backing Bahrain’s commitment to implementing the agenda of sustainable development 2030, building capabilities and boosting the knowledge and skills of the civil service employees
