Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today newly-appointed Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Rami Saleh Warikat. He stressed strong historic bilateral relations and both countries’ keenness to further boost them.
The Deputy Premier welcomed the Jordanian ambassador, wishing him a good stay in Bahrain and pledging to provide him with every support to fulfil his duties successfully in bolstering bilateral cooperation within the framework of pan-Arab action and to achieve the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II.
The Jordanian ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation of the good welcome, stressing keenness to build on previous achievements in further cementing relations between the two brotherly countries and pointing out keenness on activating the high joint committee.
Both sides discussed Arab and regional issues of common interest.
