His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, this evening in Jeddah, held a meeting with Deputy King of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH Deputy King conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who in turn extended greetings to the Saudi leader.
HM the King voiced appreciation of HRH Deputy King’s welcome and hospitality and wished him good health to continue serving his country under the leadership of King Salman. .'\
HRH Deputy King welcomed HM the king in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the solid relations binding the two kingdoms and their people.
The progress of the historical bilateral relations was discussed, as well as cooperation for the benefit of joint interests and the consolidation of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
HM the King stressed Bahrain’s standing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against threats and challenges to protect development achievements and maintain security and stability in the region.
HM the king praised Saudi Arabia’s leading role in promoting joint Gulf, Arab and Islamic action and preserving Arab interests and unity.
The meeting emphasized that Qatar needs to correct its political course, implement its previous commitments and comply with all demands presented to it for maintaining the security and stability of all GCC countries, including Qatar.
