H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has issued an Emiri Resolution regarding the formation of the 'Coordinating Council for Charity Work and Endowments' in Ajman.
According to Resolution No. 07 of 2017, the council will be under the chairmanship of the Crown Prince, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Saif Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, Obaid Hamad Al Zaabi and Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Ansari as members.
This came as part of the Year of Giving 2017 initiative launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"The culture of giving is inherited by the UAE and Emiratis, as it was instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He gave much attention to humanitarian and charitable issues that have not been affected by place or time," Sheikh Ammar said.
The Year of Giving initiative, thanks to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa and the generosity and charitable work of the Emiratis, would enhance the country's stature in this regard, he added.
