United States of America extended thanks to the State of Qatar

The United States of America extended thanks to the State of Qatar for its support of the global coalition to defeat ISIS and praised Qatar's continuing efforts to stop the financing of terrorist groups, including prosecuting suspect financiers, freezing assets, and introducing stringent controls to its banking system.
US State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said this came during a meeting in Washington yesterday between US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson with HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani during which they affirmed their commitment to work towards a stronger partnership, a more secure region and consolidated relations between the two countries.
