Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Legal Affairs, received on Monday, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Relations Gustavo Rodolfo Zlauvinen of Argentina and Under-Secretary of Argentine's Ministry of Health, Miguela Maria Picon, at the ministry.
Fernando Ramon Martinez, Ambassador of Argentina to the UAE attended the meeting.
They reviewed issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance bilateral ties in the best interests of the two countries, especially in the legal affairs domain. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
Al Jarman hailed the distinguished UAE-Argentine relations in all fields. He also stressed keenness of the UAE to develop ties to reflect the aspirations of the higher leadership of the two countries and for the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
Zlauvinen praised the existing partnership with the UAE. He stressed that relations are witnessing notable development in all fields, pointing at the Joint Committee meeting held in March in Argentina and the political consultations meeting between the two sides in November 2016 in Abu Dhabi.
He also hailed the successful visit of President of Argentina to the UAE. He also expressed happiness about his country's participation in EXPO 2020 Dubai.
