Turkish security forces have captured 23 Pakistanis and Afghans who have illegally crossed the land border with Iran into the country, Turkish security sources said.
Security forces seized the crossers in the region of Bashkala in the Turkish border province with Iran, Van, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
The sources added that the security forces transferred them to the government hospital in Bashkala to conduct a medical examination on them, noting that they were then transferred to Van Directorate to take the necessary action with them.
Turkish authorities announce from time to time about capturing illegal migrants trying to cross into Greece and European countries.
