Labour Fund “Tamkeen” signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Company, the world’s leading telecommunication service provider, to support on-the-job training programs.
The MoU aims at increasing the number of enrollees to the Huawei’s international program, which strives to build national competence and expertise in China. Commenting on this occasion, HE Dr Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, CEO of Tamkeen, said: “Tamkeen’s endeavor towards establishing partnerships with major international companies comes as part of our keenness to provide the Bahraini citizens with specialized training of international standards in order to improve their skills and experiences, so that they become the first choice for employers.”
He further added: “This MoU was signed in the context of our efforts to focus on developing individuals in the field of IT and telecommunications which is among the main economic sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
Tamkeen is working tirelessly and constantly towards developing human resources and building expertise as well as talents to enhance their future employment chances and their productivity by taking advantage of flagship international experiences in various fields.
