Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has denied news about the deployment of Russian military experts to Egyptian and Libyan lands.
Speaking in a joint press conference with his visiting Congolese counterpart Jean-Claude Gakosso here Tuesday, Lavrov dismissed as baseless the circulated news.
Russian diplomats left Libya long time ago and were moved to neighboring Tunisia following the unrest in Libya, Lavrov noted.
Those claims are sheer rumors that have nothing to do with the truth, the top diplomat stressed.
