Jordan on Wednesday said it will positively approach Germany’s decision to relocate its troops from Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base to the Kingdom.
State Minister for Media Affairs Muhammad al-Momani said in a statement this evening that Jordan and Germany maintain strong ties in various domains. The minister, who is also the government’s spokesman, said both countries are active members in the global counterterror coalition.
Earlier, Germany’s Bundestag voted to withdraw troops from Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base to a military facility in Jordan.
