The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA)’s Board of Directors, on Thursday, discussed with Pakistani ambassador in Amman, Shafaat ullah Shah, ways to boost economic ties between the two countries.
Head of the JBA, Hamdi Tabbaa, stressed the need to promote the volume of trade exchange, which amounted to $59 million in 2016, attributing the weakness of this exchange to the absence of a regular air route.
The ambassador said that his country is manufacturing many medical devices and equipment and re-exporting them to other countries including Germany and India, noting that this is the most prominent reason that weakens trade exchange with other countries.
