Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today that reaching a common political solution to solve the Syrian crisis is considered a common goal between Turkey and Russia.
Talking to media before leaving for Russia to meet President Vladimir Putin, he said that he will discuss the necessary steps that must be taken to shed blood in Syria, stressing that "it is necessary to install a cease-fire" there.
The Turkish president pointed out that the Syrian crisis will lead his talks with his Russian counterpart, in addition to discussing the situation in Iraq and some other regional issues he added that Putin would like to lift the Russian economic sanctions on Turkey as a matter of urgency.
Erdogan has refuted claims regarding possible Cabinet reshuffle in the government.
