Director of Al Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Omar al Keswani urged on Thursday Arab and Islamic countries to support Jerusalem residents in face of the Israeli offensive targeting the town.
Al Keswani asserted the need of standing by Palestinian people and backing the resistance of Jerusalem residents against schemes by the Israeli occupation.
Al Aqsa director was responding to remarks made by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat about formulating a plan of action that would enforce noise regulations upon Adhan (the Islamic calls to prayer).
