His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today received Alpha Conde, President of the Republic of Guinea, who is currently visiting the country.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Guinean President and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him the friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Guinea, and means of developing them to serve the interests of both countries and peoples.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the existing relations between the two countries, especially in the economic and investment fields and ways to develop them.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed confirmed that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen to strengthen its relations with Guinea for the benefit of both countries, and opens wider prospects for cooperation and successful partnerships in various fields.
The Guinean President expressed his pleasure to visit the UAE and meet with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan, pointing out his country's efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with the UAE, to benefit from the UAE's successful development experiences, and to consult with them on issues of mutual concern.
Both officials also exchanged views on regional and international developments, as well as a number of topics of common interest.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
