The Minister of Industry and Trade of Yemen, Dr. Mohammed Al-Maitami, and Head of the Private Sector Development Programmes at the World Bank, Nabila Assaf, have discussed means of bosting cooperation.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the meeting took place in Cairo in the presence of the bank's Country Manager for Yemen, Middle East and North Africa, Sandra Bloemenkamp.
The meeting touched on the joint efforts to mobilise the private sector's capabilities in enhancing the social immunity in Yemen and the central role that the private sector is supposed to play in the comprehensive reconstruction and national reconstruction project, with a focus on supporting small and medium enterprises.
