In response to the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, “Shabab Oman 2” vessel of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) will leave the Sultanate On Sunday on its third Friendship and Peace Voyage.
The RNO vessel’s farewell ceremony will be held at Said bin Sultan Naval Base, under the auspices of Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister responsible for defence affairs. The voyage will last for six months during which it will visit a number of European countries and will take part in long sail competitions and a number of festivals and celebrations.
