The Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao has honored Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs at World Summit on Information Society Forum in Geneva for winning Technical Excellence Award for its security awareness project in the field of information technology.
The Ministry won the Award among the top five winners of votes in the category of Information Security and Confidence Building in the use of information technology at the Award of United Nations World Summit on the Information Society.
The head of the delegation of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry's Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Dr. Essam bin Abdullah Al-Waqit said that the Ministry's winning of such an international award confirms the success of ambitious plans and directions of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for developing all services in all ministries in line with the Kingdom's vision 2030 and digital transformation.
