His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Mrs. Audrey Azoulay on her election as United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) director-general.
HM the King extended sincerest congratulations to the new UNESCO chief and wished her success in her duties, hailing her standing and expertise which would contribute to enhancing cooperation between all countries in the world in the fields of education and culture.
