H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, said that providing a decent life for Emiratis is a priority for the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed explained that this includes the appropriate residential choices that meet the needs of Emiratis and helps their families attain stability in light of the continuous development process, which aims at achieving happiness of individuals and society within the nation.
The remarks were made when Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, visited the Dubai Municipality. He was received by Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of the Dubai Municipality.
His Highness, the Crown Prince of Dubai, instructed municipality officials to prepare a plan that meets the expected needs of citizens over the next 30 years and to coordinate with other competent authorities to safeguard integration of every potential issue for the success of the plan.
He also issued directives to prepare an overall plan to revamp old neighbourhoods in Dubai to suit the needs of its residents in accordance with the highest standards of modern planning, while maintaining the distinctive character of those areas that include various elements that ensure the highest levels of comfort for the population.
Sheikh Hamdan said, "I gave instructions to the Dubai Municipality officials to quickly translate the vision of the wise leadership to achieve the highest levels of UAE citizen's satisfaction in the housing services and development of interrelated and diverse communities at the social and environmental levels." He also toured a number of departments at the municipality and was briefed about their services.
