H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, has stated that the UAE Flag Day celebration provides a fitting opportunity to instill the values of the Union, loyalty and citizenship, in the young generations and inform them about the country's cultural and humanitarian developments and achievements.
''The Flag Day celebration promotes the spirit of the Union and cements national solidarity and cohesion,'' Sheikh Tahnoun said in a statement on the Flag Day.
''It is a national occasion through which the UAE citizens express their love, loyalty and allegiance to the leader of the nation's development, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces '' he added.
