Dubai Municipality (DM) will not undertake medical tests anymore in line with the implementation of the Executive Council Decision number 17 of 2017.
In a statement issued on Thursday, DM said: In line with Dubai Municipality's efforts to achieve the directions of Dubai Government to offer integrated services and in line with the implementation of the Executive Council Decision number 17 of 2017 regarding the provision of medical tests to be restricted to Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Municipality decided to discontinue receiving any requests related to the new health card, the renewed ones, or Medical Fitness and Free of Diseases Certificates' request starting from next Sunday.
Additionally, the outstanding transactions or the ones submitted before will be completed and delivered to their applicants according to the old rules and regulations.
Occupational health cards are issued to food handlers in all types of food establishments, salon workers, beauticians, barbers, staff with nurseries and kindergarten, employees of health clubs, fitness centres and spas etc. They receive the occupational health card from the Dubai Municipality Clinic which certifies them to be fit for working in their category of job - since 2010.
