Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has concluded its annual Summer Training Programme 2017 for Youth.
The programme was attended by 56 Bahraini youngsters aged 14 to 18 and some of their parents alongside with visiting the delegations of the International Red Crescent & Red Cross Committee and the Arab Red Crescent Societies Organisation.
The programme included training on the principles of volunteering in the International Red Crescent and Red Cross movement to provide humanitarian relief assistance in the Arab world, as well as training workshops on first aid, fire extinction, photographic arts and leadership skills.
The programme activities also included a field tour visit to ASRY Company to compare the practical safety aspects with the training programme.
The participants received certificates after successfully passing the five-day training programme, and were honoured by BRCS Secretary-general Dr. Fawzi Amin and General Director Mubarak Al-Hadi.
