Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Wednesday ordered Bedouin Palestinians living in Khan al-Ahmar area in the northern Jordan Valley to evacuate their homes or else they will face demolition by the 25th of this month.
Legal advisor of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Mohammed Abu Elias, told PNN reporter that the ongoing crimes of Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, including ethnic cleansing, are meant to allow expansion of Israeli settlements on Palestinian land, using claims that homes in these areas were built without any building plans as they are lands of Bedouins.
Abu Elias stressed that these Bedouins are refugees who have left their original homes in Beersheba in the Negev desert, and that they are the ones entitled to the land.
He added that the Israeli law and judiciary work together in implementing the settlement project.
Coordinator of Bedouin communities, known as Abu Khamis, said that the Bedouins in the area, who have been living there even before 1967 , where constantly under attack by Israeli occupation authorities.
The community has the population of around 200 people, who have a school, a mosque and a clinic for health services, which provide services to all the neighboring communities.
He stressed that people of the area will not change their stand and will not leave their land for Israeli occupation.
