UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi informed the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, about the UAE's development model during a meeting in New York on Friday.
The meeting centred on how the UAE uses technology to generate opportunities and create an ideal environment for growth and to empower youth for running new projects in the state.
Al Gergawi and Guterres discussed the UAE's administrative experiment which focuses on shaping the future, strategic planning and youth empowerment within the government system and community so as to deliver their aspirations and ambitions of the UAE leaders.
The UAE minister briefed the UN chief about the results of the World Government Summit 2017 in Dubai which more than 4,000 attendees from 139 countries.
Lana Nusseibeh, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, attended the meeting.
