The volume of trade exchange between Jordan and the UAE hit AED6.7 billion ($1.8 billion) in 2016, according to official figures by the UAE Ministry of Economy.
The ministry’s figures showed that re-exports accounted for half of the trade exchange, reaching $840 million.
Meanwhile, UAE non-oil exports to Jordan reached $500 million, while Jordanian exports to the GCC state reached $430, the official figures also showed.
