Wall Street stocks surged to fresh records Wednesday, boosted by strong US manufacturing data, higher oil prices and continued strength in technology shares.
All three major US indices closed at new all-time highs, with the Dow Jones Industrial up 0.4 percent to 24,922.27 at the closing bell.
The broad-based S&P 500 rose 0.6 percent to end at 2,713.01, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index gained 0.8 percent to 7,065.53, its second day above 7,000.
