The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) took control of two more villages in the eastern countryside of Raqqa, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Monday.
Backed by the US-led coalition jets, the SFD made rapid advances in the northeastern countryside of Riqqa after capturing a number of Daesh-held villages, American channel Alhurra quoted SOHR as saying.
Meanwhile, at least seven persons were killed by airstrikes on Daraa southern countryside, said SOHR.
It added that clashes between regime forces and armed groups in Daraa el Balad entered their eights day in a row.
