The US-led coalition targeted Daesh with 19 strikes in Iraq over the past 24 hours, said a military statement on Thursday.

Fifteen terrorists were killed in the raids, said the statement.

Several car bombings, weapons, five vehicles and ammunition were destroyed in the airstrikes, added the statement.

According to the statement, the Iraqi warplanes also targeted Daesh militants in various sites in northern Ramadi, leaving scores of terrorists dead.
