Suicide bomber detonates himself in condolences tent in western Baghdad

Iraqis clean up the site of a suicide bombing that targeted a street filled with hardware

A suicide bomber detonated himself on Saturday in a condolences tent in a residential area in western Baghdad.

Baghdad Operations Command Spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan said the suicide attack killed and injured a number of persons.

Baghdad has been the scene of bombings, suicide attacks by Daesh militant group which seeks to destabilize the security of the Iraqi capital.
