The casualties of a car bombing that targeted southern Baghdad climbed to at least nine deaths including four soldiers, and 20 injures.
Police officials said a suicide bomber drove his explosives-laden car into the checkpoint in the town of Youssifiyah on Saturday, Fox News reported.
At least 20 people were wounded and several cars burnt in the attack.
