A number of Daesh militants were killed and injured when the US-led coalition's warplanes raided their positions in southwest of Kirkuk province, a security source said on Thursday.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said these US airstrikes on Daesh fighters in Kirkuk resulted in killing and injuring a number of them, including a leader as well as demolishing the positions where they camp.
