A number of persons fell dead or injured in a booby-trap blast that targeted a security checkpoint in Western Baghdad, an Iraqi security source said on Wednesday.
According to Arabiya news channel, a suicide bomber was driving the car. Reports on the number of casualties are not yet available, added the channel.
