Five Daesh militants were killed Saturday as the US-led fighter jets launched an airstrike against the terrorist group's posts in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.

Two vehicles were destroyed amid the aerial raid, an Iraqi security source said.

Meantime, Turkish military jets bombed border areas, northern Dohuk Governorate of Iraqi Kurdistan region, targeting Kurdish PKK sites.
