At least 10 people were killed while 32 others injured in a booby-trapped car explosion that hit a small city in Anbar, Brigadier General Saad Maad, the spokesman for the Iraqi Interior Ministry, said.
Speaking to MENA, Maan said the car bomb targeted a wedding party in Amiriyat Fallujah in Anbar province, central Iraq.
On Tuesday, Army Chief of Staff Othman Al-Ghanami urged security apparatuses to commit to a security plan and maintain victory attained after military operations against terrorism.
He made the remarks after two suicide attacks hit the city.
