At least four people were killed and three others wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, said police on Thursday.
The explosion struck a passenger bus in the Droreyo Banda area of Kahi in Hangu district.
An official of the Bomb Disposal Squad, Akhtar Khan, said in a statement that the homemade bomb weighed about 10 kilograms and was placed in a vegetable oil tin.
Police carried a probe into the incident and the injured people along with dead bodies were shifted to Hangu hospital.
The blast came at a time when Pakistan military is carrying a comprehensive operation against the foreign and local militants in northern tribal region of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.
